“MC Africa True”是nana开始与DJ David Fascher合作製作rap歌曲时所用的第一个艺名。DJ DF的单曲《Make the crowd go wild》和富于老式民谣风格的《Here we go》中，都有nana跨刀献声。
1995年，一个名为"Darkness"的系列音乐企划随着单曲《In my dreams》的发行而浮出水面，製作人正是Tony cottura。一位製作人是九十年代製作了一些默默无闻的欧洲风格音乐作品的Marcello piaggi。这个音乐系列的编曲由Bulent担当。Nana在这些作品中有着他精彩的、口齿伶俐的rap表演，风格上更类似于欧式的士高舞曲。
Nana的第一支单曲《Darkman》于一九九七年年初发行。这首作品在欧洲尤其是德国、奥地利、瑞典、比利时荷兰和卢森堡获得了巨大的成功。而标誌他取得真正突破的，则是单曲《Lonely》.这首歌在1997年超级流行，在德国流行歌排行榜冠军为之盘踞了一个月至久。而这首佳作在德国之外也渐渐流行，家喻户晓。在大多数欧洲国家，它都曾进入排行榜的前五名。继而，单曲《Let it rain》《He's coming》和《Too much heaven》都进入了德国歌曲排行榜的前十名。由于《Lonely》所取得的商业成功，人们接受了nana，不断购买他的下一张单曲唱片，并认可了他的演唱风格。在这之后，nana推出了他的第二张专辑《Father》，其中的《Remember the time》、《Dreams》和《Father》同样一经推出便大受欢迎。
2000年年中，由于Toni cottura和Bulen的想法发生冲突，而Nana又想转投新的唱片公司旗下，Booya Family解体了。Nana在新公司xtra large录製了他的第三张专辑。其中的《I wanna fly like an eagle》于当年十一月发行，这是一首关于自由的出色作品。，《U-secret》这张专辑遭遇了巨大的挫折胎死腹中，其中缘故不得而知。 2001年，Nana捲土重来，这一次他在德国推出了rap风格的单曲《Du wirst sehen》(《你将会看到》).这支单曲依然取得了成功，比起Darkman时代的风光无限，相形见绌。随后，Nana 积极筹备他的新专辑，这张专辑的名字被预定为《Global playa》,并计画以英语和德语演唱。但，令人匪夷所思的是，这张专辑又因故未能完成。
2003年，Nana换了新的搭档，卖力工作。现在，它拥有自己的录音室，录音室的名字就叫“Darkman records”,并且，他现在把自己的艺名改为“Darkman”，他即将推出的专辑被定名为《God's plan》,首支单曲是《Ride》,video将会在两个月后打出。黑人儿回来啦！！（The darkman is back!!!）
