Yazoo 在美国称为 Yaz，队员有Vince Clarke (作曲/合成器) 及Alison Moyet (主唱/作曲) 。
Vince来自刚起步的 Depeche Mode，而Alison 可算是寂寂无名，不过她的嗓子很有个性。两人于1981年组队，并于翌年发行首张单曲 Only You，瞬间即取得英国流行榜第2位。
Only You 后来被 Flying Pickets 以清唱形式演唱 (1983/10)，带来另一种感觉，而且直指英国单曲榜冠军，多年后谭咏麟也翻唱了粤语版“只有你”，收录于“爱情故事”(1992/Philips) 专辑中。
