I was a huge fan of Colbie's record. When it came out, I fell in love with the way that she makes music.

.这首歌获得了2010年第52届格莱美Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals的提名,最终输给Colbie和Jason Mraz合唱的lucky.当被问及Breathe没有获得格莱美而Lucky获奖有何感想时,Colbie回答说:我喜欢和Taylor合作的Breathe,去年我和Jason在全球各地演唱Lucky,我很高兴它能拿奖.

"Breathe"在Billboard Hot 100上最高排名仅87.但也是唯一一次(截止当年)Taylor有不同专辑的歌上榜(Crazier).
